ServiceNow Collaborate / Connect

In the Kingston version of ServiceNow we are leveraging the Collaborate feature [NOTE: These features are released as Beta (subject to adjustment) and only available to departments using the ITSM suite].

ServiceNow Collaborate enables users to connect and communicate in real time, share ideas, work together, and make quick decisions.

  • Connect Chat
    • Allows you to interact with other ITIL staff in a productive way within the ServiceNow tool.
 
  • Follow a Record
    • Enables you to follow a record (INC, CHG, etc.) to track Work Log activity as it happens. 
 
  • Live Feed
    • A social IT experience that provides a place to post and share content to all ITIL users or specific groups in ServiceNow.
 
  • Connect Support [only for Enterprise IT Service Desk]
    • The tool IT Service Desk (ITSD) agents use to provide live support to customers (via help.ucsf.edu).
